Ambulatory Anesthesia Solutions is pleased to welcome Susan Yarcheck as Clinical Recruiter. In this role, Susan leads the search for the anesthesiologists and CRNAs who staff our partner surgery centers, guides candidates through the hiring process, and makes sure every placement works for both the provider and the facility.
Susan comes to AAS with nearly 20 years in clinical recruiting. That background matters in a field where the right provider has to be more than just a nice resume. Outpatient surgery has its own rhythm, and finding people who do well in it takes someone who knows what to look for.
Nearly Two Decades in Clinical Recruiting
Susan has spent most of her career connecting clinical talent with organizations where that talent can do meaningful work. She has seen what happens when a hire gets rushed and what happens when it is handled with care, and she brings that experience to every candidate conversation to find the best fit: Understanding what a facility actually needs, what a provider actually wants, and where those two things overlap.
Supporting Providers Through the Hiring Process
For anesthesiologists and CRNAs considering a move, Susan is the first point of contact at AAS. She explains what a role involves, answers questions about schedules and facility assignments, and stays in touch through onboarding.
Providers who come to AAS are usually after the predictability that outpatient work offers: no call, weekends off, and a schedule they can plan a life around. Susan helps candidates determine if the ambulatory surgery center setting fits what they want from their career.
A People-First Approach to Hiring
Relationship building is where Susan particularly shines. Trust is one of the keys to recruiting, and that trust comes from following up, listening closely, and being transparent about what a position really looks like day-to-day.
That approach aligns with how AAS works with its partner surgery centers. We are not a staffing agency filling a shift and moving on. Each provider we recruit becomes a central part of the teams they work with, and hiring the right candidates is where that starts.
Outside of Work
Susan lives in Florida and is a proud mom of two grown children, with one beginning their journey at Florida State University this fall. She values family and meaningful relationships, a commitment that shines through in both her personal life and professional approach every day.
Welcome to the Team
We are glad to have Susan on board and look forward to the providers she will bring to AAS. If you are an anesthesiologist or CRNA interested in outpatient work across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Jackson, and Kent counties, take a look at our current openings or get in touch with our team. Susan would be glad to talk.
